    HK VP9L???

So i just recently picked up my very first HK. The HK VP9 OR! and i love it! I like the way VP9L looks and feels too! . Should I buy the VP9L slide kit or buy the whole gun? Any thoughts?

        Either option is viable.

I have a non-OR VP9 and the long slide is a nice addition to allow for switching between iron sights and the long slide with a red dot. Saved me a few hundred dollars and a DROS fee.

Nope not interested in the SK. Leaning towards buying the slide kit honestly.

I dont like glocks. Dont own one! Lol its my first HK though. Gotta say I like the way it feels and holds in my hand. Like a Glove two of my coworkers and a close friend of mine told me to buy the slide kit instead of the whole gun. So i dunno yet

VP9SK is being discontinued, replaced by the VP9K.

ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

VP9L slide kit is for those who owned the older VP9 before VP9L came out. If buying new, get the VP9L version it will work out cheaper overall. However, if the intent is to own both a full size and a long slide, it is typically better to have two separate guns.

Same logic apply to Glock. Do you want a 17 or 17L or 34 or 22 etc? They all use the same frame just different slide assembly. People typically don't own just one frame and 4 different slides, they will buy all four.

Had the same setup, and the long slide shoot so much better.
