Most Reliable Full-Size (G17) or Compact (G19) size platform with 10-round magazines?

I've heard very bad things about full-size and compact Glock reliability with 10-round magazines. Does anyone have any platforms recommendations that are both on-roster and run better than the Glocks seem to? How do the 320s do with 10-rounders?

(I'm sure there'll be plenty of "Oh well my Glock runs fine with 10-round mags and I have a bajillion rounds on it." I'm sure most work pretty well, but this is a widely discussed issue.)

    Thanks for the input!

Got G17s and a G21 that runs fine with the newer Glock 10rd mags. I think the issues were with the early 10rd mags. Even Magpul 10rd mags ran perfect in the G17.
Shot some G19s that ran fine with Glock 10rd mags.

I've had no problems with 10 round G19 mags, but have had intermittent failures with G23 10 rounds. It could be age related grip issues, but I haven't had problems with standard cap G23 mags.

If I could make a suggestion:
If you're looking for a more compact option, consider the Glock 26. The standard magazine is a 10 round magazine.
I have 2 G26's and added the Pearce +0 mag floorplate extenders so I could get a full grip (including my pinkie finger).
Both have been 100% reliable, are VERY soft shooting for their size, and are extremely accurate. (Just this weekend shot one of my G26's against a new Hellcat Pro and the G26 was definitely more accurate - in my hands with my eyes.)

Haven’t had any issues with my P226 or P320 using 10rd mags.

Just run your GLOCKs with factory OEM "everything" (except sights) and you don't have to worry about anything.

Only use OEM factory parts and magazines for optimal performance, reliability, and durability.

I have not had a single issue with my G19 using 10 round magazines after the initial break in period of 150 rounds.

I have like 30 10 round mags for g19 and g17. Pmags, pinned oem and oem. Never have had an issue with a single one. There might have been a bad wave at one point but I haven’t ever seen it in years of shooting glocks. Honestly a Glock with a bad mag would still run better than any other gun I own.

I have a g 19 and a sig 365. I ran the 365, which carries MUCH smaller than the 19, with 10 rounders in IDPA and ad no issues, and i am closing in on 1k rounds. I never loaded the 10 round glock mags but everyone runs them in IDPA and i dont see any problems.

"On roster" and run better than a Glock is a tall order, and I don't even like Glocks.
The only two I have used and can recommend are the Beretta PX4 and Smith and Wesson M&P. Give those two a test drive and see.

I have a bone stock (except for Dawson sights) G17 that runs reliably with OEM 10 rd mags. It has thousands of rounds of various ammo run through it with only the very infrequent glitch.

My primary carry is a stock CZ PO-1. The DA trigger pull is a tad heavy, but it's easy to get used to. Definitely worth a look-see.

with the Glock 19 factory OEM 10 round mags, they altered the follower to have a hump in the back. I’m thinking they did this to make sure that 11 rounds could not be inserted into the magazine, creating a crime in ban states Unfortunately this causes the round to be angled a little lower on the feed ramp, creating issues with jacketed hollow point ammunition feeding reliably. Ive had consistent problems with most JHP, especially with the last round in the magazine. This problem doesn’t seem to happen with FMJ ammo…I think the rounded nose profile allows it to feed reliably.

OP answered his own question...G17 and G19 are the answer. If you MUST deviate...SiG P320/P320 compact or Springfield XD series.

Glocks not running well complaints are usually related to a new polymer frame pistol shooter making the complaints.
You have to grip a polymer framed gun harder than you have to grip a steel framed gun.
Once the users figure that out, the 10 round magazine problems usually disappear with no changes to the magazines.
The same problems exist with the 15 and 17 round magazines but since this is a CA forum, you hear about 10 round magazine problems more by first time glock owners.
