    Ruger Single Six 22lr

    this is the one thats questions out of the guns I'm getting from my father who passed, if you remember my old post.

    so far here is whats waiting
    British .303
    some .22 rifle
    30-30 lever action
    Colt Python .357 6"
    Browning HiPower .9mm
    Taurus PT145 .45 ACP Polymer Pistol

    and the one that might not be allowed is the Ruger Single Six 22lr, anyone know the info on this gun or what it would be on the list?

    Single action of a certain dimension are exempt from list. I think it has to be 5 rounds, 3 1/2" barell and some overall length.

    That one pictured should be fine.
    I'm sure someone will know full details soon.

      If you are concerned about not finding it on the DOJ's approed list, don't be. So long as the pistol, being a single action revolver with a cylinder capacity of at least 5, a barrel over 3" and an overall length of at least 7 1/2", the pistol is exempt from being tested and will therefore not appear on the list. If you look at the list, you will not find any Ruger single action revolvers because they fit these criteria, making them exempt from the list.
