Beretta 92FS Inox?

What do you mean by "worth it"? That is too subjective and open ended.
I had the Italian Inox with the yellowish finish and slanted dust cover. I ended up selling the frame and keeping the slide assembly to use on an American made Brigadier Inox frame. I didnt need two Inoxes. I like the straight dust cover and darker gray finish on the American made Inox frame.

There would be no performance gain, just cosmetics.
Are you going to collect Beretta 92's? Then it is something you don't have yet. But there are lots of other cool versions out there too.
Personally, if I had a Brig inox, I would not seek out another newish 92 inox. An older straight dust cover, no warning Inox, or old ghost... sure.Last edited by Ruber; 07-16-2024, 6:57 PM.👍 1Comment

That is for you to decide. For me the differences were not worth it. But note I only sold the frame. I kept the Italian slide to use on my Inox Brigadier frame so I could have a non-Brigadier Inox. The differences between the frames are the slanted dust cover, the radiused grip, and the finish. I didn't like the finish on my Italian frame but I think newer Italian frames have different finishes now? I also prefer the look of the straight dust cover. But the slanted dust cover also has it's charm.CRPA and NRA member.

Completely depends on the price. If it was $100 I'd buy it in a heartbeat.Originally posted by Noble CauseCan you imagine Patrick Henry, the "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" guy, in today's world, whining about "not joining the NRA because of junk mail" ?!👍 1Comment

You already have the Brigadier Inox and the M9A1.
Why not get a 'standard' 92FS or some other type/configuration that is unlike what you already have?
e.g. If NIB is not a criteria, you could even go with an older Elite, Centurion, etc.Updated UserID - formerly TheFlashComment

A slightly off yellow undercoat that can be seen at slide wear area.
You can get a slight idea of that color just to the left of disassembly latch area in picture.
The slide on my M has added wording.
Was a little out of place since it looked routered in and not finished with the slide.
Preferred the Vertec grip so ended up selling both my Italy made models, 92FS and Brigadier frame.
If I was going to get another it would be the L serial number with less writing on the frame.
My current Beretta's only the 92X performance and 89 Target are Italian.
