So who has great customer service?

Springfield Armory is awesome... 1st, I have ran my XDm9 3.8 probably as hard as anyone on this board or anywhere else for that matter... Not one malfunction.

SA was doing a "gear up" deal and was sending out three free mags to people if they bought the gun within a certain time frame. I bought mine two days before the deal, but they sent me the mags anyway!

Apex Tactical discovered a cracked ejector star on my j frame when they had it for some triger work. With my permission they sent it to S&W for repair. There was a bit of a delay due to it being over the Christmas holiday but nothing that was extreme. I was not charged anything by S&W or by Apex Tactical for anything associated with the repair, no shipping and handling charges by either company.

Kudos to Apex for catching the defect and for the great trigger job.

I have had expierence with S&W. Great response, no cost to me, and threw a couple of small things for my trouble.

Of the big manufacturers, I believe the top 3 will be S&W, Ruger, and Springfield. It seems to me they have something in common.......now let me think.....oh yes, they are all AMERICAN!

I had only deal with Beretta, Glock, Sig and Hi Point. And only Hi Point gave me a satisfied service.

Glock was reasonable but not above nor beyond. They will not ship nor sell internal parts to none Glock certify gun smith. Even though we all know one of strongest part of Glock design was its so simple, even a average joe can detail strip and replace parts. They did point me out a vendor that will sell the part I need.

Sig was very disappointing (I hear they got better). If I spend $700~800 for their gun, I shouldn't need to be paying another $200 ammo fee just to break it in so it will function as they advertised.

Beretta was the worst experience I had. I was on the phone for over 50 min to even get one of their CS, and got a half a$@ answer. And their smith did a hack job on my Neos.

Hi Point had a good CS and great warranty. Though they did not pay for the shipping forward, but they fix my gun quick and sent back with additional magazine that they test fire with. So kind of break even on the shipping cost.

Springfield Armory has outstanding customer service. One of the few companies that truly live up to their warranty. There's only one other company I've dealt with who had better customer service and that was Wilson Combat. Then again you do pay a premium for WC's.

My vote is a little weighted since I have only dealt with GLOCK, but I think you'd be hard pressed trying to find another manufacturer that supports their customers as much as they do.

Bersa is supposed to be bad but when I ordered the wrong key because I

misread serial # they shipped a new correct one pronto with one quick phone call for free and said I could keep the wrong one no problem.

Ruger is great. Springfield is also outstanding. Both have earned my business.

I had to deal with Kel-Tec once also, and I was very impressed.
