    Review HiPoint c9

    Ok so I bought the hipoint c9 for my girl 11 days ago. Picked it up today and put 150 rounds thru it after my girl put 50 thru it. And heres my thoughts

    Accuacy= GREAT

    Recoil= Great no noticable recoil

    Function= decent and thats an overstatement
    The slide would lock back without feeding the next round in the mag. No jams or double feeding just fails to strip rounds out of the mag 6 times in 200 rounds.

    Control= CRAP! You aint doing no thumbs forward on this badboy, also grip is very uncomftorable, and actually cut up my fingers a bit.

    Sights= great

    Trigger= CRAP CRAP CRAP

    Overall this pistol is worth what I paid for it but not a dollar more. I'm not gonna let my girl learn with this pistol, but it'll make a good pistol to keep around for end of days and arming someone who has nothing else.
    I will continue to play with it and see how it grows on me. If I change my mind I will do another review.
    Any questions feel free to ask.
    Also I am not disappointed in this gun for what it cost its a great firearm!

    Full unconditional warranty on your C9. If it's failing to feed, send it back to HiPoint. They have legendary customer service.
    You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
    If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
    Come on...what harm??

        99% sure its your magazines, people will load them and let them sit for a week or two, or you can find info on slight bending to the mag,

        if you call hi point the will most likely tell you its the magazines, i would guess if you load them and leave them till you shoot they should be fine.

            About the C9 trigger, this is what I did. Make sure the gun is unloaded, insert a empty mag. Then I pulled the trigger without cocking or firing the gun.
            After about 100 pulls I began to notice it getting smoother.
            I pulled it about 200 more times and it was actually very nice. Not 1911 nice but quit good.

              I picked one up last month myself. I did the "load the magazines and let them sit" before my first range trip and had no issues, they were slightly easier to load too! I only got to shoot 50 rounds though.

              I had ordered spare factory mags from Exile Machine along with two 10rd Promags since I intended to get a carbine to go with it - the Promags won't seat in the C9 or the carbine for that matter, the notch seems to be low causing the mag to sit too high.
              I had no problems with the newer factory 10rd carbine mags in the C9.

                Yeah I read that about loading the mags for a week, but I cant wait 10days + 7days to play with a new toy lol.
                Im gonna try that trick with the trigger.
                I cant believe how accurate this thing is though.

                          sweet and congrats

                          luckily the trigger on my c9 is actually pretty good

                          as far as grip...cant really do the high bore axis thumbs forward grip...try the thumbs down grip...pretty much just basically follow the grooves on the plastic grips...i was getting some slide bite the first time i shot mine, but after observing what i did i made the adjustment and im gtg

                          chalk up the feeding issue to the magazine...try the feedlip mod and you should be flying in no time
