Sig 220 Trigger

I love the Sig 220ST gun. When I hold the gun my hand seems to be slightly small for the grip. I notice that on the Sig web site accessory section they list a special trigger for people with small hands.

I realize that the grip is different for everybody but I would like to hear of any comments from people who have installed this optional trigger. Was the grip improvement significant? Were you satisfied with the improvement?

The factory "short" trigger makes a world of difference for me on my Sig pistols. It's a cheap mod that is worth it's weight in gold.

Worth trying it out if you have smaller hands and its pretty easy to install (5 mins or less) if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.

I have small/medium size hands. I didn't like my 220Carry without the short trigger; I like it a lot with the short trigger. I bought an armorer's dvd and installed it myself.

Could someone recommend where to get an armorers DVD for the Sig 220 that will show trigger replacement?

hey group im in the market for a sig p220. I saw an all stainless - body and slide with black hogue grips, brand new, it had the adaptor rail as well, is this model discontinued as i dont see it in the 07 catolog unless it is the p220 Elite with beaver tail and wood grips. next to it in the case was a duel tone black body and stainless slide version which is in the 07 catolog, the all stainless cost $936 and the duel tone model is going form $986 could this be because the - all stainless - is a discontiuned model, its heavier than the duel tone which might be better for less recoil. Which should i go for, and is this a good price.

one more thing what does the term - plane jane - refer to , does it mean the black tactical version , please let me no. thanks

You're probably better off starting a new thread but to give you some quick answers. The Two-Tone 220 has an MSRP of $907 with regular sights and $973 with night sights. Those are suggested retail prices that you should be able to find much cheaper with some shopping around.

Plain Jane is a term referring to something plain and simple.. nothing fancy.
