    Hellcat?

Thinking of buying a Hellcat OSP. I already own a Hellcat Pro. Is it worth it? Does anyone own both? I am already super happy with the Pro. Just considering it. I already own a Ruger Max 9 and a Sig P365.

For me, CCW guns are just tools/appliances. I don't care about how they look, their cachet and or provenance, all I care about is if they are reliable and if I can shoot them well or at least good enough to save my life.
I personally find shooting my sub compact/micro CCW pistols not very fun, they are all too small to make shooting enjoyable, they are harder to shoot than my C&R or and full sized pistols (other than my G17 on my CCW), they're all just utilitarian plastic
and metal and have some variation but overall, none of them are interesting or exciting guns to shoot. I have a Shield, Shield Plus PC off roster, a Ruger Max 9 off roster and a Glock G17. In short, in general, I'm not a fan of tiny pistols.

It sounds like you already own three pretty popular CCW pistols, what do you think a Hellcat OSP is going to do for you that none of the other three don't? I've shot the Hellcat and the P365 and didn't like either although
I liked the Hellcat better than the P365, the grip and overall size on both were too small. Personally, I'll be adding a G19 to my CCW next year as I find the larger, thicker Glock grip MUCH easier to present from concealment ready to shoot.

I find all of my sub compacts, after I get them out of the holster, all require a "realignment" in my palm after I get them out of the holster, to get a good, accurate hold, which adds to my reaction time, which makes me wonder why I am bothering carrying such small pistols to begin with. Yes, more convenient and easier to conceal but I definitely shoot my G17 better than any of the small pistols, but the G17 is too physically long and gouges me in the side when I sit to drive or work. So a shorter,
smaller G19 seems like the perfect move, or possibly another mid-size like the Walther PDP. G19 has the larger, thicker grip of the G17 and I won't have to rotate and realign the pistol before shooting, which makes my reaction time and accuracy better.

This issue isn't a problem with holster carry, it's a problem for me with concealed carry in particular where I have to peel back one to two layers of clothing and dig out the pistol from a holster that might ride higher up the gun
than a typical non concealed holster would. I use two or three fingers to get around the grip but the tiny and narrow grips on a sub/micro pistol have to be placed into my palm using my thumb and possibly my left hand (I'm right handed) as I get my grip and
raise the gun into shooting position. When I draw my G17, I can get the whole grip into my palm FROM the holster, I raise it and shoot in one smooth motion.

This apparently doesn't affect everyone, or if it does, they don't notice it, but with me, when I time my reaction to draw from concealed and shoot accurately with my Strikeman dry fire system, the difference is noticeable and significant. I don't know how large the Hellcat Pro is but my advice is to buy a mid sized/compact and not buy another sub/micro.

Very well said. Leaning towards full sized firearms! Solidifies my decision not to buy micro/sub firearms anymore.

I have a hellcat osp and like it. That said, you already have it's competitors, so why get it?

I also like larger pistols to carry because I shoot them better, but full sized pistols don't work for me. "Compacts" about the same size as the glock 19 work for me. A cz 75 pcr is my current favorite.

Imho your HC Pro a good compromise on size.
