The Tac sport 2 is nice and I do like them. I was trying to see if the shadow 2 is worth the hype. I have an opportunity to buy one but I am REALLY looking at a CZ AO1 SD.

If you can get it for a fair price and not the California overprice then I say go for it. I bought one a few years back and only shoot it a couple of times then sold it because I thought it was to heavy. I'm just a casual shooter and at the time didn't like how heavy it felt to me. I have two SP01s a SP01 Shadow and recently picked up a Shadow2 SAO because it was a fair price I paid for it. Both my SP01s are modded with one having a TS upper on it. The SP01 Shadow I bought around four months ago and absolutely love shooting it. The S2 I just picked up is still heavy but the single action makes it worth the weight difference to me (I've made most of my CZs SAO). My SP01 is a better shooter with the CGW parts I installed but still not as nice as my SP01 Shadow and the S2. There is a difference in the grip of the frame between all three guns. The Shadow1 is deeper than the SP and the S2 is even deeper. I like the Shadow 1 the most because it has the right grip depth and weight for me. As for the S1 and S2 both fit and finish, trigger and slide movement and very nice and not sloppy. The S2 I have is fairly new compared to the S1 which from what I was told was a match gun but is still in great condition. I will say this if you shoot match the S2 would be what you would need for speed of shooting but I believe the S1 tuned right would be just as good and a little lighter to carry.

Somehow (still not sure how but I assume the CZ gods smiled upon me) I was able to snag these three Shadow 2s. The middle one is an AccuShadow and although I haven't shot them yet I am impressed. The fit and finish are great and the grip fits my hand well. I'm hoping to get out soon to put some rounds through them to be able to provide better insight. Enjoy whichever you end up with, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Shadow 2 is a great gun but isn't magic. For range fun great gun.

For competition great gun but heavy
