Both are equal in nearly every way but with the Sig you can buy bigger grip modules, which you will, until you realize it's still not perfect and you'll have spent so much into it that you'll never get your money out of it. Choosing the hellcat will prevent that from happening.
If I can give advice, for "small" I'd skip the 9mm entirely and go with a P238 or an even lighter gun like the LCP II 22lr.
I held both and the Sig got my money.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..Originally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. I just posted on Sigstoker's post about the 365 trigger and in my opinion the 365 was the worst of the 6 pistols I shot at FT3 last week. I was looking at getting a smaller pistol than my Glock 17 and my groups with the 365 were at least twice as big as the others. I shot the Hellcat and Max9 about the same. the Hellcat was pinching my pinky at the gap between the mag and frame. I know a glove would solve that issue but I hate wearing gloves and don't think I would have them on if the occasion arose and I had to defend myself. I ended up buying a Glock 19 and will Keep looking for a smaller pistol in the future if I ever go for a conceal weapon permit.

My P365 is flawless. I've never fired a Hellcat, though. But I'd never trade my 365.Sam, if it's December 1941 in Casablanca, what time is it in New York? I bet they're asleep in New York. I bet they're asleep all over America.Comment

I always go back to one of my favorite shooters I see at the Action Range at RRGC. He has been shooting a Glock 26 for years. He just upgraded to a Gen5. He is so good with that pistol. He consistently shoots a 6" plate rack or 5 " at 10 yards in 3-4 seconds from the holster . I asked him how he does it. He said he put 10,000 rounds at the plate rack. He has shot the gun so much he doesn't feel comfortable shooting with a full size Glock.
He doesn't change anything but the sights and add grip tape. He is much better than many shooters with full sized modified guns. Why? Because he put in the time to master the gun. The trigger doesn't matter. What matters is the time you put into learning to work the gun and challenging yourself. We all train as much as our life allows, but a lot of these questions are down right silly.
Pic a platform and decide how much energy you are going to put into being proficient with it. The problem isn't that the gun or the triggers suck. The problem is that we suck. Saying it's the trigger is an excuse. Watch people with stock guns triggers smoke people with modified triggers in competitions and see that it's mostly the Indian not the arrow. I just ran a stage yesterday after not touching a pistol for a month and had issues with reloads on the run. It wasn't the gun.

FT3 in stanton CA sucks.. dont shoot there.. they held me hostage there and would not let me leave intil the cops came because i asked for another lane.. it was imsane to have 4 people shooting on one range.. all tbey care about is there members.. they physically put there hands on my almost 80 year old dad.. they are scumsComment

Hate them both. Friend has a Hellcat I have shot, too snappy, too small of a grip for my average sized hands.
Sigs break and are not reliable, they are a ripoff in California too. $700 for the FCU then you have drop more coin to get a decent sized frame. Pass. Most overrated CCW gun on the market.
Buy a Shield, G19 or I'd even look at the new Rost Martin RM1C, great gun. Or wait for the new H&K CC9 to hit the roster.NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor, Shotgun Instructor and Range Safety Officer
