Remove the MCM and turn it into an X Macro. That's what I did. Love it.

I ran a regular P365 ( non CA) for a few years. The biggest problems I had were :

When carrying appendix, the short slide causes the grip to lean forward. I had to adjust it a few times a day. This is somewhat belt dependent but the solution was to change to an XL.

When trying out the P365 in USPSA, it was very difficult to drop the mags. The grip module flexes when squeezed, so you have to relax your hand or reach over and pull it out. When moving from one area to another in a stage, it takes your attention from target focus to almost a malfunction drill. The solution was to change to a Wilson Combat XL grip module. The longer module allows you to not loosen your grip and easily drop the mags. No different from most guns.

It was really hard to shoot controlled pairs that didn't seem like slow fire. The tiny frame made it really hard to control the recoil and bring the gun back on target for follow up shots. The solution was changing to an XL and a lot of dry fire drills. It's not as fast as a full size gun, but it's better than I thought.,especially after adding a Holosun EPS. I squadded with a guy shooting an X macro and he was smoking stages. Another gentleman was shooting a stock P365 a little slow, but his accuracy was excellent.

The last problem has been the same for both the standard P365 and the P365 XL. The way it's designed, the thin grip is very close to your body in appendix. I wear a wife beater undershirt to keep a gun off my body. When drawing a CZ P-01 or G19 from appendix, I have no problem pulling the gun out. It's easy to get my thumb between my body and the gun. With the P365 I always catch my undershirt with my thumb. I tried not wearing an undershirt and practicing my draw, I ended up gouging my thumb into my stomach skin. I watched a video where Lucas from Trex Arms had the same issue. The solution has been adjusting my shirt each time I draw in dry fire. Whether for self defense or for a stage, you only draw once. I've shot the XL in 2 matches and had to adjust my undershirt once or twice after a few draws.

Other than the WC grip module and the Holosun EPS, the gun is stock.

I run an xl slide with macro frame (chopped to xl length) and boresight razorback. With that setup I can run 0.17 to 0.19 or so controlled shots all day (say for a all alpha bill)

        Give that a try

An extended mag release was a must-have for me. I went with an Align Tactical Offset Mag Release. Much better than stock. Also Added a Holosun 507K in green.

As promised. All shot with a p365 xl slide, chopped macro frame, 507k, and boresight razorback.

First 3 bill drills of the day from aiwb 7 yards. All 2.51. First 2 runs I accidentally had a charlie. Last run clean

And 25 yard draw to headshot from aiwb.

On a side note most of my p365s run a eps carry. This training gun and backup competition gun runs a 507k the glass is cracked after 30k or so rounds (a pebble came back and hit it) but it has been going strong since glass cracked (3k rounds post spiderwebbing). Not noticeable with circle reticule (which I run) but I do notice the cracks on 2 moa dot

Sounds like most of those problems would be fixed with a bigger grip module.

For me, the hangup with dropping the magazine is the fat part of my hand extends below the grip a little, but just enough to touch part of the baseplate, hanging up the mag. I know I have to shift my grip a little to drop the mag free.

Now much more comfortable to shoot.

Thinking about getting the Rose P365. Yeah, it's the woman's version of the Spectre Comp, but it has the manual safety. Other than the grip module are there an other differences?

I don't think that's a macro. The macro has a picatinney light rail.

Wilson makes a "short" macro grip with the Sig type of rail.

If I had to choose only 1 favorite upgrade to my P365, it would be swapping out the grip module to a factory Sig P365X/XL grip module.

Fit & feel in your hand is so much better and I shoot way more accurate with the XL grip module than with the factory one (even with the pinky extension). IMO, it feels less snappy to me. They're pretty cheap too as you can often find the factory Sig grip modules for around $39.

The only downside is you need to buy XL mags, which are expensive at $45-50 each.
