    SHTF Loadout!

So I will keep it short and sweet. What would be your go to gun if SHTF this very second, if zombies burst in or if china finally invades? lol Im curious on what the majority of us Californians would use. Id probably grab my Ruger SR9c as my first line of defense Sorry if its the wrong section to post im just looking to get an opion on what people grab when things go bad.

      12-gauge auto-loader
.45 longslide with the laser sight
Phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range*

*if they don't have one...I'll go with the Uzi 9 millimeter.

Seriously depending on the situation probably just my G19 with my IWB holster. I don't have any desire to ever be in a situation in the states where I need to go full blown mall ninja. If that day ever comes good luck folks people get really crazy when they are stressed and hungry.

Ar carbine and xdm45 bcuz its the closest weapon for me to grab. If time is on my side then the plate carrier gets loaded up next.

Depends on what the nature of SHTF is, where I am when it kicks off, what my plan of action is to deal with it, if I am on foot or by vehicle, how far am I traveling if traveling at all, etc. It also depends on if me and my neighbors can pull together for our mutual benefit and defense.

Anything from an AK with 180 rounds loaded in quickly accessible mags, to a Glock 9mm on my hip, to my Keltec PF-9 hidden to keep a low profile, to my mossy 500 and/or a .22 for harvesting food, or I may be stuck with my Sig P238 .380 if I'm not anywhere near my gun safe to prepare, depending on the situation. There is no perfect firearm for every situation.

Watch the "Out of the Wild: Alaska Experiment" show on Discovery (a month with city people in the middle of nowhere Alaska trying to get back to civilization) that is now on Netflix and you'll get a new respect for what you can do with just a single shot .22 and 410 for feeding yourself, and notice that the larger centerfire rifle completely lets them down in that department, even when they get the assistance of an experienced bear hunter. The show certainly opened my eyes for sure.

More than likely though I'll be keeping a low profile and not escaping to the woods, so probably one of my easily concealed options so as to not to paint myself as a target.

My Russian sks, a bunch of water, if I could carry them my handguns, ammo, done food and more water and my .22 rifle. That's all I have to get by. I'd probably head up north to my more paranoid friends place and hold out while the professionals take care of business.
