Don't you just hate it when you forget your magazines?

Lucky you chose such a common make/model!

You don't need that spring loaded bullet holding thingy. Just load one round at a time through the chamber. Try taking your rifle to the range and leaving the bolt at home.

My "range bag" is a tool bag that has pockets in the sides that fit Glock mags perfectly. It has a ring that holds a spare key for all my locks. So far worst thing I forget is masking tape or a pen to start marking my targets.

I've forgot the $2 off coupon that you print out on ASR's website numerous times.

Oh no, prepare to be crucified for using clip instead of magazine. You shall be banished into Calguns hell for saying such things.

Sometimes I'll print out a bunch of paper targets, then leave them on my desk when I go to the range at lunchtime.

As for clips vs magazines, who gives a crap, we all know what people mean when they say clip. I would LOVE for some major gun rag or some well respected shooter/instructor to just declare "From now on, the word 'clip' is an acceptable colloquial term for magazine".

At one time or another I've gotten to the range (20 miles each way) only to discover...

                            1. I left the key to the pistol box at home
                            2. I left my magazines at home
                            3. I packed the WRONG magazines
                            4. Forgot ammo for one of the guns
                            5. Forgot the test handloads that were the reason for the range trip

Will say I've always had a revolver or at least one good set of pistol/magazines.
