    whoops

make sure your reloads have enough powder in them...lesson learned...300 rounds and 2 low powder loads ended my range session when i saw the bullet at the tip as the pic shows....this round went poof, emptied the magazine, ejected the casing, looked down the barrel didn't see no light coming threw, looked at the tip not pointed at me and saw the bullet.

Wow! This is why I usually weigh every reload I finish on a digital, and any with more than a few grain variance gets pulled...

My last reloads I did not weigh, as I have not screwed much up so far, but I shouldn't do that again.

        Thanks for the warning!

I'm glad you noticed it. I always bring a wooden dowel in my range bag, just in case.

This came accross my bench one day......4 rounds in the barrel, 1 in the forcing cone and number 6 left unfired.

I had one squib load once, and that really reinforced it to me to ALWAYS visually inspect each case right before the bullet gets loaded to make sure 1) there is a powder charge and 2) it looks like approximately the right amount. I also switched powder to something that will not double or triple charge the case without overflowing.
