    M&P 9mm

I finally shot my new S&W M&P 9mm today and ran into a few problems. In the first four magazines I had 5 misloads. After the first few magazines the problem went away.
Also, about one in four mags the slide would not stay open after firing the last round in the mag. This happened throughout the 300 rounds I put through it.
Ammo was blaser brass and UMC.
Does anyone else's eject the cartridges straight back? Mine does and its rather anoying.
I like the gun, it just feels right, but has some of these issues.
Should I keep putting rounds through and hope it gets better or get it serviced?

Your mags are the problem, a lot of low cap mags cause feeding problems. Real mags feed better, as they are what the gun was designed to shoot, lowcaps are an after thought

I put about 150rds through my .40 fullsize today. No problems whatsoever, feeding WWB and Ranger JHPs.
None of the casings hit me in the face either

Did you clean and lube prior to firing it?
