If you haven't owned the "high cap" mag since before the ban and aren't LEO?

I guess what I'm getting at is: is it common for most people on this forum to have legally owned hi-cap mags for every firearm they purchased after the ban? I understand saying that you can only have 10 rounds, period for anyone, is FUD. However, if I had to guess, a lot of people aren't in the scenario I described. I'm a young Calgunner buying my first handgun and come from a family that hasn't ever owned firearms. Unless I become LEO or the ban is lifted, I'm stuck at 10 rounds on any restricted firearm, so....yeah.

What's needed is a set of dueling pistols in 9mm and .40S&W

I like my P239 in .357 SIG but barrel life reportedly suffers due to the pressures. Haven't gotten there yet and besides I have .40 and 9mm barrels, mags, and a 9mm recoil spring for it so it's all good ;-)

why don't you get shot by a couple rounds of each and let us know which you would prefer. Just get a 10mm or .400 corbon

I shoot 9 mm because its cheap and because of my suppressed sbrs. I dont shoot 40 because i got it right the first time around with my 45acps.
Iam a good shot. At least i think i would be. Iam a good free throw shooter.

Just remember...it is always safest to keep the gun pointing north.

Wish the test was for more than collecting $25.

Stock up on ammo!!! What is nice about 40 is that is a homeland security round and during the last ammo scare "Stupid people" there was 40 on the shelves at Walmart. 40 works better than 9mm due to the heavier bullet all things equal. I have 9mms and I don't care to shoot the caliber it feels blah. 38 special is fine, 40 is good 45 acp is better 44 mag sucks

California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

I might just have to get a 9MM anyways, or the .45 because, well, it's a .45 . Apparently, someone I know has a hook-up (of course I find this out today, after the fact!). I could have saved ~$125, but it is what it is.

Yeah! I've already been checking out prices and have a good idea of where I'll be stopping by!

40 beats 9mm everyday of the week!
For the guy who said 40 costs almost as much as 45 is on crack! 1000 rnds 40 $200
                          1000 45 $300ish. Thats a 1/3 higher.
9mm is a great round all in all.
