    handgun safety roster?

Took my buddy shooting the other day, and long story short he's looking to buy his first firearm. So I'm in the process of teaching him the ins and outs of California law, and the link for the handgun roster is either dead or down, not sure which. Does anyone have a copy of it, or can anyone point me to a working link?

Wiki explanation here -- http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/The_Safe_Handgun_List, but http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/ does indeed seem to be down just now.

    Doesn't usually last long.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

CADOJ took down the list today and we are free to purchase any new handgun we like without restriction

J/K, the website is down at the moment.

        ^wouldnt THAT be nice!

@Librarian, yeah I've already pointed him toward the wiki and to the forums. You guys really do amazing work between the two. He just had a few guns in mind that I'm not sure about so we were just hoping maybe there was another link somewhere.

Seems like a good time to flood the phone lines with "is this one okay? Is this one okay?"

We can only buy handguns that they say are okay, but, they are not providing that information! Grounds for a lawsuit? Or, at the very least, an opportunity to annoy the hell out of DoJ.
