    Two Berettas in one week.

    Hey all,

Just a post to gloat about my two newest firearm purchases. I've loved the Beretta 92 series for many years and while I have trained and used them with nothing but great experiences I had never owned one. Well, two weeks ago I bought a brand new M9 and the next day a friend called offering a LNIB 92 for $350 so I had no choice but to jump on it. I picked them up a few days ago and here are the results. Sorry for the crappy pictures, I'll get some better ones soon. I have plans to pick up two D springs for them and a Blade-Tech holster, oh, and of course lots of mags. I'm very happy with them and can't wait to put them through their paces this weekend in Tucson with my Dad.

I want an M9 lol. Stupid AR, I could've bought an M9 and a lot of ammo had I not been building it...

Congrats on the purchases! Those are a fine pair of pistols you have there! You certainly can't go wrong with a LNIB 92FS for only $350.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Glenn, I'm actually in Irvine right now. Any decent place to shoot around here? I'm here a few times a month.

My indoor range of choice is On Target Range in Laguna Niguel, which is about 15 minutes south of Irvine. Here's the contact info:

              On Target Range
              27692 Camino Capistrano
              Laguna Niguel, CA 92677
              tel: (949) 348-0352

Take the 5 South, exit on Avery Parkway, turn right after you exit, turn right onto Camino Capistrano, and it'll be on your right side about a mile or so down. I've had only good experiences every time that I have shot there. It does get busy on the weekends, though, so be forewarned. Have fun!

Great, thanks for the info. If you ever see a guy duel wielding Berettas there it just may be me...

Dual wielding? That's the only way to do it! Just channel your inner action hero.

is that a 2-tone finish on the top gun?

                      looks nice!!! and great deal.

Very nice! I just picked up an Italian 92FS this last weekend, too bad i wont get to touch it until the 1st. But if you want hit me up there is a guy selling some nice parts for a custom look for your 92's.. I just picked up the D spring, the mainspring cap that's flat with no lanyard loop, an SGS style compensator from Ric Gandy, The 92fs i picked up was made in 1985 so i am swapping out all of the internal parts for new ones, leaving the barrel for now.. Here is what I'm going for.

Thanks again for the comments! It is a regular 92FS but the flash makes the frame look lighter than the slide assembly. Cool idea, SoCalSig. I've never shot a compensated 92 but I'm sure the recoil is next to nothing between the wait, ports and caliber.

Love Berettas, but apart from the itallian-style slotted screws on the grip, these look identical to me. You really don't need two Berettas that look that similiar to one another, so go ahead and box it back up and I'll do you a solid by taking it off your hands for what you paid.
