    glock fire pin spring?

    question are all of Glock Firing Pin Spring are the same say the one from a 19 will work in a 22 or 30 in midway they offer one spring fits all

    All model Glocks use the same spring. You can get reduced power or extra power also.

      I have a glock 30 gen 2.5 the problem I had 3 light primer strike Im using the winchester primers with 5grns of unique and a 230grn bullet plated I shoot about 400rds and having 1 light primer strike is one to many and I looking into buying a new spring. I cant have a glock having a malfunction

        High primers are the usual cause, but check the striker bore spot face for brass slivers. Striker springs usually last for a very long time.

          When I was an active glock armorer, I never saw a worn out firing pin spring. The two common causes for light hits were either primers not seated fully as mentioned above, or over lubing which eventually gunks up the firing pin channel and fills it with crud. A good cleaning solves that.

            Try cleaning the channel liner. Use a clean Q tip, no oil, no lube.

            You should be able to push the firing pin safety button (that silver button on the inside of the slide) and shake the slide; hear the firing pin rattle back and forth.

            New springs are cheap as well.

              I own 3 glocks and this the only one with the isue I dont use oil I just use some light grease on the rails. the chanel is clear the only thing that concerns me is that I bought the glock used and dont know if is a aftermarket lighter spring i might just buy one cant be more that $5 of course is going to be Glock part

                Do what OB says, it pains to me to see and hear of people totally over lubbing their Glocks. Less is best.
