    Kimber mag question

I pick up my Kimber CDP on Wednesday. It only comes with one mag, so obviously I will need more. The gun shop had Kimber mags on the shelf. Are they any good or should I be looking at something else?

wilson combat mags, i like the 47sthey are what i purchased and they worked great. I left them loaded for a week so the spring would loosen up a bit, but great quality mags.

Wilson Combat has been the innovator in custom pistols, long guns, and accessories since 1977. Home of the Wilson Combat 1911, EDC X9, WCP320, and more!

Amazon has them for a good price from time to time.

If you’re going to spend money and buy new mags I would definitely get something other than kimber mags.

      Wilsons are my personal recommendation.

i'd shoot a couple of boxes using the factory mag first before buying aftermarket mags.
i had a Kimber Ultra which preferred the basic factory kimber black magazines to the wilson 47s....not all 1911s like Wilson but most do.

The only mags that gave me FTF problems in my 1911's were Wilson 47D's. I've had the best luck with Tripp Cobras and Metalforms.

http://www.topgunsupply.com/check-ma...-magazine.html Get these and you never buy any other mag for your 1911. Checkmates are the best
They also come in blue or stainless with or without skrited follower
                Best of Luck

At the time i was looking (6 months ago) before i sold the kimber I found them on amazon for cheaper then anywhere else. Might be different now as deals come and go.

Wilson 47s don't work in my Kimber. FTF last round everytime.

                      Haven't tried the ETMs.

                      Kimber TacMags work flawlessly
