9mm ammo question

My ammo has been sitting in it's box for quite sometime now, and I finally broke it out to my surprise some was shorter than others. I thought very odd and then noticed that the lead was sunken down into casing.

WTH? Can I use it? should I use it? why or why not?

Is this normal?

Bust out the calipers and tell us exactly how short it is, if the OAL is too short it may cause problems, but if its just a little bit it should be just fine.

Don't see why they would have shrunk. Maybe they are different bullet weights mixed up?

Is it UMC in the yellow 250 pack? I've seen quite a bit of that due to the way they stack them.
