Update on Glock 19 Gen3 Experience

Another trip to the range today and shot both WWB target and Speer Gold Dot HP rounds. My groupings are tighter at a further distance. I am very pleased with the Glock and am getting a lot more comfortable with the recoil as a new shooter. No regrets and am living Glock perfection.

Very cool. Don't forget to look into a course...best thing I ever did as a new shooter.

Congratulations to your G19 - it is an outstanding and versatile pistol. Mine is riding A-IWB in a Dale Fricke Ehud holster right now.

From my personal perspective, the Glock 19 is the perfect size for a carry/self-defense gun. Easy to conceal, excellent control due to the low barrel axis and a very simplistic system. Keeping this gun maintained is literally chid's play.

You also took a very good first step in starting your gun ownership with a class to establish your technique. FTA teaches solid basics and Bill and Cheryl are good people! I'm not sure if they updated their intermediate to advanced material to include evasive movement while engaging your target though.
