    Glorp???

Who started this moronic slang term for the Glock? I saw it on another gun forum that I won't name. It's idiotic! Don't we catch enough heat as gun owners without making up stupid stuff like this?

    First time I've seen/heard it.

haha, OP, you sure that you aren't just trying to get a new Glock slang started? JK

I've heard of Glunk though. There's also Block ofcourse.. don't forget Glock-blocker/knocker

I googled it up and came up with this:
          GLORP: Generic Lightweight Object-Relational Persistence

I guess the Glock is kind of generic looking and its definitely lightweight. Its durability makes it a persistent firearm.

i looked it up and found a forum about it. I think it's because the glock has the same grip angle as the ruger mkII; i think, but don't qoate me.

The bigger question is, why does anyone care if someone has coined a nickname for something? Heck, I'm not even sure why I replied to this worthless thread.

I've always heard Glocks referred to by the moniker "Tupperware".
