New Smith & Wesson M&P concealed carry

I've been looking at getting my girlfriend a conceal carry gun here soon. I have been thinking of getting a glock 19, or maybe a kel tec pf9 until I saw the new S&W which is pretty sweet

I dont have any experience with the M&P models, but this one looks to be quite a bit different from everything I've seen. Its quite small, and would conceal very nicely.

Why would you pick a gun for her if it's her concealed carry gun? Do you know the prefer type of gun she likes: Semi-auto vs revolver, metal vs plastic? Type of action: DA, SA, DA/SA, striker? Or if she can shoot with it.

official stuff for that gun comes out tomorrow. I'm sure that everything is probably accurate about it though.

But yeah this seems like definitely one to check out if you are looking for concealed carry. Of course make sure she is the one to do most of the handling and testing of it, since it will be hers

Looks interesting, I loved my M&P40C, but I sold it since " for me" it was too big and heavy for my every day carry.

It will be interesting to see just how small and heavy it carrys, I have a PM9 and a PF9, I love the weight of the Keltec an the size Kahr, I have a feeling this will be both bigger and heavier than both and in the middle as far as price is concerned, can't wait to check it out.

just get it, if she doesn't like it you get to keep it.

That is cool. 3.1" barrel, shorter than the 9c/40c, single stack. I want one!

Maybe I'll have to get one of these for my wife to compliment my M&P 40c.

I wonder if the trigger pull will be heavy like the Kahr. I'm interested, even though LTC is a pipe dream still in LA.

It looks like there is a manual safety kinda like the Ruger SR9.
