    Sig2022, 9mm

Anyone know what recommended 9mm grain ammo is best used with a Sig2022? 115 or 147? Also, is it picky with a certain type of ammo?

I'd doubt it's made to work better with either grain of bullet. Most common and cheapest rounds tend to be 115gr for what it's worth though.
As for what ammo tends to work best, I've not heard of sigs not working well with a specific type or brand of ammo (more the opposite), but maybe some 2022 owners can chime in here.

I just got the 2022 in 9mm... I've run about 250 rounds through it of federal 115g and jack Ross 115g reloads with no issues..

I run Winchester white box 115 grain in my 2022 and have had no issues whatsoever in 500 rounds.

Any are fine. Most people end up shooting 115, its the most common and cheapest. They run 147 fine and 124/127 fine too.

I have been shooting Sellier & Bellot, 115 grains, without any issues.

I've put about 1000 rounds of this through mine without a single FTE/FTF and this ammo is suprisingly accurate as well.

I have almost 3000 rounds through mine. WWB, Federal Champion, range reloads, NATO 124gr, Federal AE 124gr. All have worked fine.

115 gr. ammo is the base for range use, anything with higher grain count is to much in my opinion. The higher count should be for self defense.

I've shot 600 115gr FMJ reload rounds since I got my SP2022 with no issue. From what I've seen with my gun, it has no preference. It will take and use anything you feed it. If your looking for some good reloads, Bullet_man911 is the person you should go to.
