are these Glock 19/19c prices good?

Hey calguns i'm a newb and i'm looking to purchase my first handgun soon so far i have check into a few stores and i have gotten prices for Glock 19 for $542 and a Glock 19c for $572. If you have any suggestion as to whether compensated is good or not please post a comment. i also wanted to see if you guys thought this was a good price new from a store. Also i liked the HK USP's but those are real pricey so i think a little down the line i might want one of those but not any time soon. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated thanks.

IMO. No. dont pay more than $500 for a glock 19. C models run around $40-50 more than standard.

          GLock Mania

I've purchased 4 Glocks (19, 26, 23, & 36) in the last 8 months or so and have not paid over $480 for any of them.

thanks for the input guys but technically after all the fees for the transfer and shipping wouldn't it be just about the same price? But it does seem i would save some money on tax. But should i just pay a little bit more to the shop so i can become more familiar with them?(they are very helpful and it's a old fashioned style shop)

technically, you still have to pay tax even though you buy it out of state.

Three (19, 26 & 36) were new and one (23) was factory reconditioned.

I believe I bought my glock for $470, paid $20 for shipping and another $40 for the transfer fee. That comes out to $530 for a brand new g23. Then again, the transfer fee is really where it makes it or breaks it for you. Ask around and see who has the cheapest fees and decide from there.

Turners Outdoorsman puts Glocks on sale every other week.

They aren't on sale this week so just check their website and within a month they'll be on sale.

The price has gone up but if I rememebr right the last sale prices was around $500...maybe 520 depending on the model.

the only thing i don't like about turners is their service is terrible. Also i have heard if any problems after the sale they won't help you at all?

Initial sales services should be great since they switched over to commission
