    OK, time for some holsters

So it's time for me to buy some holsters for concealed carry. I think I'd like to get IWB holsters for my S&W 340ct and S&W M&P 40c and probably a shoulder holster for a Kimber Desert Warrior 1911. See picture below for S&Ws, waiting on 1911 to arrive.

There are a lot of options. I typically wear loose fitting slacks or jeans so those would be fine for IWB carry. I often wear t-shirts, but would obviously wear something looser to conceal a shoulder holster. I think that a 1911 would be too large to wear with any other type of concealed carry holster.

    So what are your suggestions?

Edit: I have a small (31ish") waist and broad shoulders.

For IWB holster, crossbreed has been one of the popular ones.

Shoulder holster under a T-Shirt is not a good idea as its very slow to draw and clumsy. If your at gun point, are you going to pull your shirt above your chest, unsnap and then draw? Shoulder holster are only decent under jackets. For the smaller guns, try a kydex/leather hybrid for IWB. If your planning OWB, I reccomend leather for comfort or a pancake type kydex holster. Your obviously a skinny guy so your gonna have to really experiement. I have a 33 waist and carry OWB with X-large t-shirts.

Crossbreed. The most comfortable IWB holster I've owned. It will easily conceal either handgun.

I would wear something other than a t-shirt if wearing the shoulder holster. I'm not a small guy, nor skinny.

Well, I am a rather large person..and I normally carry a 45 commander bobtail OWB in a leather pancake by Simply Rugged...as summer is comming...I am starting to pull down all my shorts and wondering how a OWB will do with lighter summer wear. On a whim yesterday at my LGS I decided to pick up a Galco kingtuck (IWB) for my Kimer TLE/RL II just to see if it would even work. What a suprise...it works rather well and I am gonna keep it...I don't think I'll be carrying my Dan Wesson in it...but I will use it for the Kimber. I have found that key to all of this is a great belt... Happy Easter ...He has Risen...
