I like CCI Standard Velocity and Wolf Match since they're the only ones that don't malfunction all the time in my Model 41.

I'm sure others will work but if it runs well in my Model 41 it should run in anything out there.

Dont get Winchester X, very poorly made ammo.

Out of a handgun, you don't need standard velocity ammo to stay subsonic.

High velocity 40-grain 22LR is still subsonic in most barrels under 6 inches.

Federal American Eagle AE22, Federal Champion 510, CCI Blazer, all make about 1050 fps out of my Ruger 22/45 5.5" barrel and Kimber Rimfire Conversion 5" barrel.

The high velocity 36-grain hollow point ammo pushes 1100 fps, so what, "transonic"?

How far are you shooting?With in 15 to 20 yds mini mags past that standard velocity.When a bullet goes from sonic to sub sonic[1115 fps] the bullet wobbles which hurts accuracy.
