    Tactical Railed 1911 Holsters

I have a Kimber Warrior that I would like to use in USPSA/IDPA matches.
I just need a holster for it.
What is available for tactical railed 1911's?

+10. Comp-Tac, Ready Tactical, both are GTG.

          Blade Tech Anyone?

Sharpshooters Torrance usually stocks the railed 1911 ones.

I like the Safariland 567 and 568 because they aren't as rough on the finish as the
Kydex holsters. I use the predecessor, 561, for my 1911s.

                  Thanks for the input.
I had looked at Safariland before and could not make a definite determination from their chart which holster would fit the Warrior. I believe their chart said 56. One reason I want to use the warrior is that the Raptor is already showing finish wear from what little use it has had. The Raptor is just too pretty to bung it all up. If I get another 1911 for competitions it will be a stainless.
I am leaning toward the Blade Tech adjustable paddle holster. It appears to have the best versatility, adjustable belt width, adjustable holster angle, adjustable retention, and price.
                  Thanks for the help,
                  Ron W.

I have Blade Tech holsters for both my 5" and 6" long dust cover (same size as the light rail) SV's. Very nice with the dropped and offset bracket and nealy as fast a draw as from my Ghost holster. If you go with the Blade Tech get the tech-lok bracket, it makes it much easier to get on and off the belt.
                    where are my pistol mags?

Which class? Limited 10? Can't beat a Ghost, Limcat or one of the platform holsters for that class. Also when you move to Limited, the holster can come with you. I used a Kydex Bladetech for L10 and it definately re-enforced the right motions during the draw, but in the never ending search for more speed, the Limcat and Ghost both get the thumbs up especially when I started shooting Limited. Not everyone can be as fast on the draw as TMC :P

If for SS, the DOH is not legal as it puts the gun too low.

Both the Comp-Tac and Bladetechs are great holsters.

Though those are great holsters, I notice a significant difference in speed of presenation with the Kydex holsters vs. the leathers.
