    who else has ammo for cheap?

    American Canyon wally world has been out of .40S&W ammo for some time. I'm going to the range on Saturday morning, and I need to find some ammo without breaking the bank. Anyone know a place in the area with comparable prices?

      The Walmart in Salinas always has 40, not so with the cheaper 45 and 9. I wonder if different parts of the state are more prone to shooting one caliber over the other.

              I don't think I've ever seen this Walmart run out of .40 ammo. They've always had it in stock even during the shortages. That was one of the reasons why I bought a gun chambered in .40 to begin with.

                  all good and well, but the cost of gas for the hour drive would negate (and then some) the price difference from just buying them at a local gun shop. thanks anyways though, it was worth a shot Calguns!
