    The wait before the wait is heck

    Found the gun I've been searching for in our classifieds. It's not on the Ca. Approved List and hard to find.

    Made the deal and now the wait. Not the 10 day one. The wait until we meet at the LGS. This is worse than the 10 day.

    At least when the 10 day starts you know at the end you get your new toy. Right now I'm waiting and hoping everything goes well and that on Sat morning the seller will be there ready to go and nothing goes haywire. Fire, flood etc.

    Time passes so slowly sometimes...

      Me too. I am waiting for my gun to arrive at the LGS so I can start DROS. Your right, kinda sucks waiting to start DROS.

              I had to wait 40 days for my p226 and now I have to wait 20 for my SR22.


              For some reason long guns wait dont feel as bad compare to handguns.

                      I was in a similar situation, myself and another member agreed on a deal to purchase his rifle. I had to purchase a few things (10rd mag & gun lock) because my handgun and shotgun was part of the deal. We were suppose to meet the next day and I didn't hear from him all day. Finally got a hold of the loser the next day and he told me he got a better offer and sold it to someone else.

                      So yeah, this waiting period is far worse than the 10 day.

                          Ooh, That's low.

                          Fortunately the seller and I can both get to the LGS today. A day earlier than scheduled.
