    Question about Glock 37

    Good morning!

I have a Glock 37, and since nobody in town carries .45 GAP ammo anymore, I feel like my safe houses a $500 paper weight.

Does anyone know of any successful conversions for this weapon? I have heard people mention a drop in .40 S&W barrel from Lone Wolf, except when I contacted Lone Wolf, they told me it doesn't exist.

I've heard you can use the slide from a G17 and replace the trigger bar, trigger housing, and ejector, and it will fire 9mm. However, seems to be a ton of skepticism about this, and nobody who has actually done it.

Any recommendations from anyone around here? Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    D

Where are you located? I've seen GAP ammo at Bass Pro, Ammo Bros., gun shows, online, etc. just need to do a little google search.

      Order online.
Freedom in the USA is not the freedom from offense. It is actually the freedom to offend.

This seems like the trick - when I took the Glock armorer's class last year, the instructor said that nobody on the west coast has shown interest in the .45 GAP, but it has been popular in the SE US.

http://www.sgammo.com and http://www.ammunitiontogo.com both seem to have .45 GAP in stock, for both FMJ and JHP. http://www.midwayusa.com shows 17 different SKU's for .45 GAP in stock.

Sadly, according to the Complete Glock Ref guide you can't do any caliber conversions with your model. Time to buy a Glock 17!
