    Santa has an FFL!

    Santa has an FFL -- at least that's the way I figure it.

    Here's what was under the tree this morning;

    Beretta 92FS (Italian made)
    S&W Model 39-2 (mfg 1978)

    Nice pistols. I must have been bad though, because Santa didn't leave anything like that under my tree.
    In any type of fight, & especially gun fights, there are no winners ..... just varying degrees of losers. The only fight you win is the one you never get into.

      Love that S&W. My Dad has one he will be passing down to me soon along with all of the rest of his collection.
      Stuff and stuff.

        Man, I bet Santa had to do some planning for that.
        What with the 30 day limit and all, Santa might of had to think of that like 60+ days ago.

          I have a soft spot for the 39-2 also. It was the first semi-auto my dad carried back in the day...I still have that pistol and boy does it have some memories attached!!

            Rumpled - Santa knows how to do PPT's too!

            The Model 39-2 and it's younger siblings the 439 and 639 are excellent, yet underrated, 9mm pistols. Excellent ergonomics, relatively light & accurate and most importantly, reliable. I've used 'em for both duty & CCW and knew that they'd perform in a crunch. The 3913/3914 is a little smaller for CCW but just as nible, reliable and accurate.
