If I am not mistaken - the slide mounted safety is similar to one on a Beretta 92 - so, no. You cannot

The slide mounted safety versions can not be carried cocked and locked

I'm not sure, but the frame mounted safety versions maybe able to be carried cocked and locked

I'm thinking about picking one of these up via ppt but I hear that it has a terrible DA at 13 lbs. So, is it possible to carry it safely in the SA configuration? Anyone with first hand knowledge? Thanks.

Only the frame mounted control lever variant can be carried "cocked & locked".

However, these are the new versions that IWI started making a year ago.
Not sure if any have been imported into the USA yet.

All previous versions have a slide mounted control lever, which can not be carried "cocked & locked".

Why not look into a CZ-75, since the "Baby Eagle" (Jericho 941) is a copy of the CZ-75.

I have one of those already. It's a great gun. That's why I want a Jericho 941. It's based on the CZ but with its own twist.
