    TRIJICON SIGHTS

Since all of you know, I have a HK P-2000 that I just received but want to know what kind of sights can be install TRIJICON or others and what other mods can be done.

You can also look into Meprolight's Tru Dot sights. They're the factory nightsights for P2000.

I have Mep's Tru Dot on my P2000, and I like them. They're bright that you can see them at night while driving or in movie theaters.

My trijicon's are bright enough that I can see my gun in the dark from a distance as long as the sights are facing me. I have a lock box that I open at night and there was one night right after I had gotten the gun that I was coming back to bed from the bathroom and I had to turn on the lights to see what those little lights went to.

I have some Novak Trijicons on my 1911 -- plenty bright. Need some for my new XD 45. Will probably just send the slide to Novak.

Quite honestly, there aren't many mods to do to a P2000. You can add a weaponlight such as the Surefire X200 or X300 and the SL TRL1/2.

As for other mods, I still haven't found any spring sets to lighten the trigger pull. There reallly isn't a guide to .25 cent trigger jobs that we can do like the Glock pistols.

It'll be more expensive, but I know the guys at Grayguns will work on your P2000 to get the trigger pull lighter and much smoother than stock. I had Scott look at my P2000 during my last class with them and he said that it was possible to smooth the gun up much better than stock.

Otherwise, mod wise... there isn't much to be done except add some accessories for the gun such as holsters, weaponlights and more ammo. HKs definitely aren't as moddable as other platforms such as the 1911 or Glocks.

Grayguns is now located in Oregon, they used to be in Norcal. They do both gunsmithing as well as training.

Performance parts and expert gunsmithing for SIG Sauer and HK pistols, backed by nearly 50 years of experience.
