Shiping an Air Pistol ?

I have a Beeman Tempest air pistol that I would like to sell but before I list it I would like to know if its leagle to ship thru the mail or fright sevices since its not a firearm.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

The airguns I have mail ordered from retailers were shipped UPS and USPS, nothing different than a pair of socks.

If you have a compressed air cylinder (Tempest doesn't) than it's ground shipping only, like an aerosol can of spray lube.
