    Hoag gun works

I thought I would tell of my recent trip to Jim Hoag's shop. I have read that some people have had bad results. Mine is the opposite. I had Jim install A Kart barrel and bushing, checker the frame reblue it and install a beaver tail and commander hammer. This sucker is tight. How tight you ask ? Les Baer guns are loose in comparison. All this was done in about a months time. I would like to thank my friend Nick for helping me find the donor gun.

The work of a true old world master. His custom beaver tail is the best available today.

Would ya mind providing a break-down of what Jim charged for each service?

It would be best for you to call him for pricing

Beautiful gun! Jim is a master and a gentleman. His prices are very reasonable and his work superb.

I was interested in how much he charged to fit the barrel. I've had work done by Jim, and live literally 10 minutes away from him.

In any event, congrats on the pistol work.

Who's grip safety did you use?

                    Thanks.
