    S&W 629 question

I was looking at a 629-2E today. It is an 8 3/8" with unfluted cylinder. I have never seen the E designation after the model.

Anyone have an idea what it denotes?

Nevermind. I found some answers by doing further research. Google helped.

    E designation = Endurance package.

Go for it, especially with the durability enhancements. The Pinned and recessed 29's/629's have a collector following but I prefer the newer ones provided they don't have "the lock".
