I bought a Wilson Combat Ultralight trigger and hammer and have a few questions on installation!

1) what tools do I need to disassemble my gun

2) what should I use to file trigger/hammer for a perfect fit

3) any heads up on hold ups that I'll encounter

Have you done this before? Dropping a hammer into a Colt will usually work but the trigger pull will not be great and the thumb safety either might not engage or might not hold the sear from moving. Both bad situations. You should buy the Kuhnhausen book on 1911s http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1...T-45-AUTOMATIC, BEFORE you get into your gun. It will save you grief and you will learn a lot
