    Beretta 84FS Trigger question.

The trigger required more pressure to deploy than normal with the hammer cocked back. This was consistent on every shot fired and annoying to the point that it ruined accuracy, since I was pulling too hard on every shot!

I never had this issue before and was wondering if it's caused by not cleaning the gun properly? Last time I merely fired 30 rounds, and did not think a cleaning regiment was called for!

Your thoughts, its a 380 acp Beretta 84FS:

Unless you've changed somthing on the gun, cleaning would be the only thing I could think of that would make any difference. I have the 85 and do not clean after every trip to the range and I have never had a problem that dramatic.

Have you had the grips off? Remember the trigger bar runs under the grip on the right side of the gun. If something were to get wedged in there that would severly impact the trigger action. That might be a good starting place and then go on to clean and lube the gun to see if that makes a difference. Good luck.

Right on, thanks; nothing was changed & the grip never been off, I did shoot a different ammo though, from Federal Eagle to Fiocci Brass. But that really shouldn't matter imo.

I will do a full clean & lube regiment on the Gun, and see if the issue persist.

Thanks again for your feedback ...

      Nice 85 ...
