    Colt 1911

    What trigger/hammer do you recommend? I have a base blue model and want to upgrade with stainless steel slotted. Do brand names like Wilson etc ... Live up to there name or as long as it's bar stock?

    Personally, I'm partial to Wilson Bullet Proof components.

      I'm a big fan of Wilson parts too.
      except for the Ed Brown Memory Groove beavertail safety. That's the best out there IMHO

        You aren't kidding, my friend. The Ed Brown provides the highest .250 radius grip safety. Perfect for any pistol that has an undercut front strap.

          my vote
          -Ed Brown.

          i replaced the standard ambi safety,slide lock,trigger,grip safety from my colt xse...all replaced with ed brown products.great products,great durability.
