I was at a gun store today looking for something in 454 casull, and someone mentioned a 460 that can fire, 460, 454 casull, and 45 long colt. Does anyone have any experiences with these? Who makes them? Price range? I would like to own one versatile, high-caliber handgun. I know Smith and Wesson makes one, but is looks like it only comes in an 8 1/2 inch barrel. Does anyone else make anything else or does Smith make one in a 6"?

I purchased a S&W 460V (4" Barrel w/1" compensator) last year. Now these are getting harder to come by due to no longer in production. A 6" w/o a comp. would be a great combination. I do think a special production of those went quick and are almost impossible to get. The 460V goes off roster this summer (6-21-12) so the used market in state will be one of your only options.
I can tell you this. My 460V is a fantastic revolver and I can't wait to reload for it. PM me if you would like to talk about it.

I have a 4 inch 460 and it is one of the coolest handguns I own.
I am much more accurate with the 454 loads.
It is versatile and a crowd pleaser.
