    Springfield TRP

Finally I got to pick up my TRP today. Man this is a nice 1911. I had everyone at my work jealous when they saw why I was late. I cant wait to get it to the range. The grips are not to my liking but I will change those soon.

Congratulations on your TRP. I just picked up my TRP Operator last week and have put 600 rounds through it without a problem. Trigger had just the slightest bit of creep in mine that seemed to have disappeared after the 600 rounds. I'm with you on the grips, I'm getting VZ Gator grips for mine. Well, enjoy!

The only problem you might run into is the crappy two piece guide rod. It always come loose on me after about 300 rounds. Finally replaced with a 1 piece guide rod and the gun is now 100% SHTF certified.

3,000 rounds with no malfunction so far. As for accuracy, I was nailing baseballs at 50 yards every 3rd shot last weekend. I was able to hit a 12" (at 75 yards) target over and over all day long with maybe 1 miss out of 20. The gun is more accurate than most people.

anyway, to the OP nice 1911. Hope you like it, fit and finish may not be as nice as more semi custom models but for the buck it shoots well and is more than reliable.
