    Sig SCORE!! *** Update***

I just scored a used Sig P228 at Turners for $399. It is around 95% condition. Unfortunately I can't start DROS until the middle of January because they hold used guns 30 days before they will sell them.

Congrats on the find. Nice one.

What's the deal with holding it for 30 days? Is it from the time they get them or from the time you buy it? And why?

It's from the time they buy it. Supposedly it's to allow for a hit to come back it the gun has been used in a crime.

P228 for 400? that's a very sweet deal. that's the thing with turner's - most of the time the deals are only decent but once in a while there are screaming hot deals like that.

my first benelli m1 s90 was purchased NIB from turner's reseda for $500.

            Nice find.

Ya Turners hasta hold em for 30 days before the gun can be dros'ed to make sure it wasn't used in a crime or stolen etc. With consignment guns you have to pay the gun off in full you can't use the payment over 60 days thing. Oh ya, if you see a gun on the online gun rack, make sure you call the store and ask to make sure it's still available. The computer systems are kinda bad with updates on the product

I know a dealer that claims DOJ forces them to hold them for 45 days! It's nice to wait for 2 months to pickup a handgun I missed a CZ85 at Turners for $325 recently but saw a .45acp P220 for $400 I passed on.

The understatement of the year, especially at Norwalk. I've written them about it to no avail.

Do they send it off to go get ballistics done on it and the whole nine (Yes, my main form of information does come from CSI)? Seems sort of strange.

Awesome find! That is a bummer about the 30 days though. Im sure it will be worth the wait!

Well I finally got to DROS my 228 The gun was released from it's 30 day pawn hold on the 18th, and it just now got to the Turners Corona locations. Almost 3 weeks to ship a gun about 35 miles Oh well what do I expect for dealing with Turners, better late than never I guess.
