    I think I have a problem

Went to a gun store on the way home from work to pick up a bore snake. Just a bore snake I swear. When I left I had the bore snake I went in for, plus a 2nd one for this Sig I now get to pick up in 10 days lol

Next time I need to send someone else down to pick up the cleaning stuff for me

This will be my first 1911 and first .45acp, so I guess I've joined the club.

I'd been interested in getting a 1911 for a while, but never pulled the trigger before because I wanted one that just clicked with me. Seemed for price and the features I wanted this model was it and it was right there in front of me. Felt pretty good in my hand too.

The Kimber Raptor II has actually been one I've been looking at too, just cause of the style really. But I can never find one in stock anywhere, and I don't want to get something that expensive without holding one first so I never ended up ordering one.

              LOL...yes, I know that problem.....

              Your first 1911..you picked a winner. !

I prefer the SIG with it's external extractor and I really love the profile of that weapon. (not a kimber fan myself)

              Good choice.....

Too bad the Gubment thinks you have to cool down for 10 days before they let you exercise your rights as a free, honest, law abiding citizen....

This 10 day crap really makes me groan.

Be well and let's see a range report..

Thats the same as my 1911. Trust me, that "mistake" will turn out for the better!

the only thing keeping me from coming home with more guns is the stupid 30 day rule. seems like 10/12 months a year i have a handgun purchase in the last 30 days.

welcome to the club and nice choice. its a shooter. put her to work!

Nice I was looking at one this weekend. It took allot of will power to leave it there, but I still on my 10 day for a glock19 and have a deposit on a springfield sub compact.

I read your post several times and could never find this problem you spoke of.

                        Congrats on your new purchase.

I went to the gun store to buy some paper targets and I ended up buying myself 9mm 1911.

It's a wide spread disease that is growing like wild fire called G.A.S (Gun Acquisition Syndrome). I have it bad and it also stands for Gear Acquisition Syndrome and Guitar Acquisitions Syndrome, both of which I also have. It seems to have a wide variety of strains.
