    Nice black 1911 grips

Looking for some nice black, not too aggressive grips for my 5" Les Baer TRS. I've been thinking VZs (either classic Black Diamond or something similar), but would love to see what you guys use.

I've been using Colt Double Diamond rosewood grips and they feel really nice, the stock TRS thin grips were a bit too thin.

I like VZ personally but they are pricey.

I have these on my SigArms GSR. Very thin and the texture makes for a great gripping surface. Good luck in your search.

I like the VZ Aliens if you want something less aggressive:

Otherwise I prefer the VZ Operators:

It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!
