    Need to feel alive....

I enjoy shooting the hot .40 200gr double tap loads but don't wanna beat my pistol up like that all the time. Would good ruger gp100 tolerate a steady diet of above average loads, but not crazy stuff? I'd love a .41 mag but don't have the funds and I found a used gp100 at a LGS for 400 bucks.

Then climb! There are few better feelings than the adrenaline rush from climbing

.357 magnum is still expensive. Perhaps you should rethink your premise.

yes a ruger will take a lifetime of full power .357magnum. It's not that it won't ever need repair or maintenance but it'll need a ton less than about anything else.

I recommend rethinking the original premise.

If you reload then a .44mag is a nice way to get your recoil rush and it takes fewer rounds.

Don't climb ropeless if you have family. Climbing was a steady feed of adrenaline for me until I fell so much that it sort of lost it's fear. Trad climbing fixed that.

Whitewater kayaking still kicks me in the fearballs.

Climbing would be cool, I am in southern Utah and not far from a bunch of state parks.

Maybe shoot a Glock 20 and some full power 10mm loads.

Full house .357 is cheap as chips if you reload, and if it's the only thing you reload you can do a sh*tpile of it on a single stage press for no setup cost. Possibly the easiest cartridge to reload ever.

I was thinking that too, but I just don't sync with glocks well.

Go for full power .357 magnum out of a S&W model 360 Scandium. That'll fulfill your appetite for recoil.

buy that Ruger. They are overbuilt compared to other comparable revolvers and should be able to take the abuse better than any. Also, that sounds like a pretty good deal.

There's always skydiving and then basejumping. Basejumping has a 30% mortality rate for consistent jumpers, so that should get you going.
