    Gun repair

What is the legal way to return your handgun to the manufacture for warranty repairs?

How will they legally be able to return the handgun?

Do all transactions have to go through and FFL? If so, is there a fee normally associated with it?

    ^^^ What jessegpresley said.

I have sent back revolvers for factory work on my own ticket and it is expensive. Overnight is the best way and insure it for lots of cash just in case. There have been lots of rumors that UPS 'loses' those kinds of packages.

If it's a factory issue that requires warranty work, then the manufacture should send you a shipping tag, as stated. They pay both ways.

Either way you go, the factory will ship it directly to you without an FFL.

    Factory and back is legal.
