I have a buddy who opened up a gunshop in glendale, so I ordered a springfield trp with rail from him. Of course his main distributor RSR is out of stock. They have been for the last 2 weeks. Does anyone know of any distributors that currently have the TRP in full or half rail?

The half-rail TRP is not on the CA DOJ handgun roster. If you want it, then you have to do SSE.
I ran into the same problem as you when I was looking around for a TRP. I found a few on Gunbroker at the time and ordered one. Had the guy send it to my FFL and after ten days, I finally had my TRP.
Btw, what gun store did your buddy open up? I only ask because I live in Glendale.Comment

AeroEngi Global arms on San Fernando Rd. in glendale. Lipseys lists the half rail trp as one with the last intials LP and one CA the ca one is listed as california legal just looked 2 min ago.Comment

It's not...I'm to lazy to go back and look it up but I think we have covered this before.
PC9105LCA is the CA rostered full rail TRP...
PC9105LP is the 3/4 model and not on the CA roster...
At one point the "old" full rail model number was PC9105L and it was on roster...but then Springfield used the PC9105LP model number for the the 3/4 rail non-roster version. Thus, when they figured it out they came up with PC9105LCA for the full rail CA roster version. Don't ask me why.
If a CA dealer sold a non-exempt person (you) the PC9105LP without an SSE they screwed up. (Unless it was a consignment gun transfered with PPT)
I will just assume they DROSed it as the PC9105LCA, which it is not. If it where me I would just keep that info to myself.
But I assure you the 3/4 rail TRP is not on the CA roster.

PS to everyone...
If you find an FFL who has and wants to sell you a TRP 3/4 rail please go for it. I am not trying to be the roster police.
Just saying it's not on the roster so be aware of the facts.
