    MPA noobish legality question

I've got a couple AR's, a featureless and a BB Colt. I was considering one of the MPA sidecocker pistols. Do you have to use a BB on these or are they just like any other handgun? Thanks in advance.

No bullet button required since magazine is enclosed in the pistol grip. Click on flow charts above for detailed explanation.

Just bought one from Rifle gear. They are sold as single shot pistols with a lock. as soon as you get that bad boy home its time for those pre bans and mag release!

I just picked up my Mini top cocking 9 today. I was a little surprised I didn't notice/ever realize when I bought it that it used a BB, even just for the DROS.

I was under the impression they used a longer backstrap screw to hold the block in place. DROS, then remove longer screw, block falls out, then replace with shorter screw.

Have no idea why they use a BB instead of the other way, but whatever. I sent MPA an e-mail and sounds like they will send me/ CA residents the normal mag release for free. Cool.

I may end up using what I rigged up instead as I think what I did may work better/easier, than their normal release. I will put up pics Friday if anybody wants.

I have the side cocking mini 9. I took off the bullet button and ordered the regular mag release from MPA. MPA has excellent customer service. I'm thinking of ordering a top cocking upper with a non-threaded barrel.

              Holy cow.

I just took my new Mini MAC top cocker 9mm out today for the first time. I have never really tried to bump fire anything before but WOW does it bump fire scary easy. Couple times I actually bump fired it with just one hand (pretty difficult) but only about two rounds in a row fired that way.

It fires so damn fast, it almost sounds like one long shot.

What a freakin blast. I found it much safer to brace it from the back, then trying to hold it by the shroud. If it was the full sized version the shroud trick would work well.

Was going to try bump firing the AR but forgot the .223 ammo
